Being an old school music lover and musician who's lived here all my life and then getting back into playing maybe 10 years ago is how early some of these gigs finish.
Back in the '80s the headline act would usually come on around 1am or later at some places.
Now i go see a band and the night is pretty much over at midnight , bar the shit talking out the front or in the beergarden.
i did notice a lot of 'clubs' thriving well after the witching hour,now that would make a great time to see metal bands.
